State Government seeking an Access Engineer on an initial 6-month contract role with the view to extend.


Your new company
This well-known State Government Organisation and one of Australia’s largest Regional Public Transport is currently seeking an Access Engineer to be responsible for evaluating the request of a Third Party to gain access to the rail network and ensure the effective planning, co-ordination, management and execution of assigned Projects, including State Works Projects and Third-Party Projects. This is an initial 6-month contract position with the opportunity to extend.

Your new role
As an Access Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring works are to be undertaken on the rail network which will conducted safely, and in accordance with the standards for the works that have been previously approved. You will also review TPA applications and issuing site access permits.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have a qualification in engineering or aligned field experience across the rail network in the safe working systems used, as well as demonstrated experience working in an operational rail network.
