Our engineering business has been strengthened through the acquisitions of Lendlease Engineering and the Geotech Group positioning ACCIONA as a leading provider of engineering services within the infrastructure sector. We provide services to public and private clients with a focus on Roads, Bridges and Tunnels, Rail and Civil Infrastructure projects.

ACCIONA is now looking for a Site Engineer, located in Sydney and reporting to the Senior Manager, Origination – Central. The Site Engineer is part of the Business Development team (both in pre-bid phase and tender phase), and will be ensure the effective coordination and control of Engineering Works for a designated tender through activities of technical, engineering, inspection, scheduling, planning, survey, procurement and quality control based on ACCIONA standards.

Your Key Objectives Are, But Not Limited To

  • Calculating labour and material requirements and importing them into the estimate software in order to give a cost to each of the tender deliverables
  • Giving support on the constructability of the scope, the development of the program, and finding better solutions to optimize the global cost and time of the project
  • Monitoring sub-contractors in the completion of daily operations to ensure project progress and optimal performance, as well as adjusting work schedules as needed in order to meet all project deadlines
  • Inspect project sites to monitor progress and ensure design specifications as well as safety and sanitation standards are being met
  • Ensures compliance with all relevant Rail Safety legislation and completes a relevant Rail Safety Induction
To be successful in this role you will have a relevant tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, or technical design related discipline. You possess relevant experience in the construction industry and in the Light Rail project. As the ideal candidate you demonstrated working Knowledge in AutoCAD, Primavera P6 and Excel. In addition, you should provide ability to work effectively in teams and fluent Spanish is essential.
