The Role


This is an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced Rolling Stock leader to join our Rail Team in Melbourne. You will play a pivotal role in our delivery of projects, engage with our existing client base and work closely alongside our broader Infrastructure team.


Here are the key things you will do to ‘bring ideas to life’.


  • Establish and lead a team of highly skilled Engineers
  • Provide Technical leadership and eminence in dedicated Rolling Stock projects or as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Identify new business leads and work with the Business Development team to win new work 
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships with clients and stakeholders at all levels of an organisation


What we are looking for


  • Demonstrated success in leading teams through a range of projects, be it technical, procurement, operational or otherwise. 
  • Solid Engineering and Project Management experience in the Rolling Stock rail industry is essential
  • Tertiary qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, preferably chartered
  • Experience in the design, procurement, introduction/maintenance, and operation of rolling stock 
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to confidently liaise with clients for the purpose of excelling in delivery or for developing new business leads
  • You will be a team player, and able to develop collaborative working relationships to accomplish projects goals.
