About The Position/s

With the program of works expanding Inland Rail are looking to engage Project Engineers - Track to provide engineering support in order to successfully execute the Narrabri to North Star (N2NS) project based in Moree, NSW in line with Project Schedule, Budget, Safety and Risk targets. The roles will provide leadership and engineering support to Contractors Delivery team along with IR Site Verification Team.

The positions are offered as a Moree, NSW based 10/4 roster with residential or FIFO/DIDO options available.

Responsibilities

will include but not be limited to:-
  • Assist the IR Project Management Team to interface with internal ARTC resources to ensure all material deliveries are completed on time, for all material free issued by ARTC Inland Rail
  • Work with the Contractor to complete Chain of Custody Transfer of principal supplied materials ensuring all issued materials are fit for use
  • Assist the IR Project Management Team to manage on site risk and issues with the contractor
  • Provide engineering support and leadership to review and manage project schedules to identify progress, lead times and project sequences
  • Provide engineering support and leadership to ensure the project is delivered in line with the relevant quality management plan
  • Assist the IR Project Management Team to identify safety and quality trends
  • Assist the IR Project Management Team to ensure the Scope of Work is executed in accordance with the approved Project Schedule
  • Assist the IR Project Management Team to ensure all changes to specifications, work scope and drawings have been reviewed and approved
About You
  • Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification
  • Experience in engineering maintenance, construction or project management of track, civil and/or structures
  • Knowledge of or an awareness of work health and safety principles and relevant rail safety legislation
  • Experience in the administration, management and delivery of major infrastructure projects.
  • Demonstrable ability to work in an organised, well ordered manner.
  • Highly developed written and oral communication and presentation skills.
