Project Controls Manager €“ Expressionof Interest

You will workas a business partner for the operations teams to develop and deliverstandardised and benchmarked project controls within Resources, incorporatingtechnology, innovation and industry best practicewithin brownfield maintenance contracts.

About the role;

  • Coach, mentor and hold the portfolio contracts to account to mitigate business risk through project controls, specifically related to fixed price and performance based commercial arrangements
  • Leverage contract compliance / risk controls audits, review of risk profile of the Contract, to coordinate the project controls development roadmap incorporating best practice technology
  • Assist the senior leadership positions to analyse financial and operational information, identifying strengths/weaknesses and seeking improvements in methods and processes
  • Partner with contract leadership positions to understand drivers and insight priorities to establish project controls integration with our customers
  • Align best practice project controls systems and procedures with site/contract-based project controls plans to ensure efficient establishment, resourcing and governance.
  • Lead the accurate and timely capture, analysis and reporting of contract performance and initiate strategies to improve outputs including data integration and automated insights
  • Develop systems and processes to optimise the efficient management of project data
  • Provide leadership and direction for all project control activities within the portfolio
  • Support and assist the contracts financial budget stakeholders with the capture and reporting of key performance data relevant to the contracts billing and project costing requirements
  • Verify tracking and analysis of process, manpower, productivity and costs to the individual projects

About You;

  • You will be degree qualified in an engineering, finance or management discipline
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in project controls systems development, deployment and administration within the brownfield maintenance industry, most importantly experience working across major shutdowns and turnarounds, and performance-based contracts
  • Working knowledge of P6, Azure SQL and Microsoft Power platform desirable
  • Leading edge knowledge and expertise of maintenance management practices standard, systems and processes relevant to the project controls activities on the project
  • Strong networking and relationship building skills, with a focus on collaboration and influencing
  • Business and project controls acumen, supported by continuous improvement skills
  • Understanding of and the ability to apply contemporary and innovative practices.
