JOB DESCRIPTION

We're looking for a Senior Planner to support us in our delivery of the Level Crossing Removal Project and Car Parks for Commuters Program, as part of the Metropolitan Roads Program Alliance (MRPA). We're currently removing five level crossings and upgrading a number of car parks at train stations across Melbourne. Now is the perfect time to join us as we have lots more technically complex projects to develop and build over the coming years!


Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain master programs.
  • Review and comprehend the contract documentation to ensure client requirements are met.
  • Contribute to the identification of and response to project risks and opportunities.
  • Advice bid/project teams on our methodology strategies to achieve program and budget requirements; identify critical activities, optimise the overall duration, resource allocation etc.
  • Establish reporting mechanisms as a means of providing project KPI's and project controls.
  • Set weekly/monthly targets for engineers, supervisors and subcontractors.
  • Provide program updates and report on schedules and revenue allocation.
  • Revenue forecasting.
  • Review and assist with variations and claims.


About You:

  • Bachelor of Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience in a Senior Planner, Planner or Project Controls position, with a skill set extending to major infrastructure projects involving roads, intersections, structures and/or rail.
  • Excellent ability to understand and interpret project and client specific requirements.
  • Well-developed communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple workloads with the flexibility and ease to adapt to situations.
