About the team


The Infrastructure and Place division is in the process of delivering an ambitious and once-in-a generation $28 billion program of public infrastructure works which will ease congestion, improve safety, create new places and connect communities for generations to come.

The opportunity


We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experiened Performance Analyst to join one of our regional offices in either Parkes, Wollongong or Wagga Wagga. This role will be based in the Project Performance unit within the Commercial, Performance and Strategy branch, I&P.


The Performance Analyst will support the performance management and reporting functions of the division by collating, analysing and presenting business information to meet statutory requirements and assist in decision making.


In this collaborative role, you will work across the division to analyse performance and produce reports for internal and external use for the Executive, stakeholders and the public.


What you will be involved in:

  • Monitor and report on the performance of the division against business objectives and targets in a range of areas, functions, and services as required.
  • Identify gaps in the availability of information and participate in the development of strategies to obtain needed information.
  • Critically analyse and interpret large amounts of diverse and complex data to provide advice on current and emerging trends and issues.

The location of this role is regional NSW and can be based in Parkes, Wollongong or Wagga Wagga.


About You


As an individual, you have skills and experience in researching, analysing and resolving complex business performance monitoring problems. You will also have knowledge and experience in the development of KPI’s and metrics and reporting on these to the business.

Combined with your working knowledge and skills using analytical tools and systems, this is a role that will utilise your proven skills in the development and implementation of reporting solutions within a complex environment.

You are someone who is capable of building and maintaining strong professional relationships with stakeholders as well as successfully managing your time and work demands across competing priorities.

Salary and Benefits


The salary for this position is Transport Grade 8 ($118,015- $132,176) per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.
