About the team

The Infrastructure and Place (IP) division is in the process of delivering an ambitious and once-in-a generation multi-billion program of public infrastructure works which will ease congestion, improve safety, create new places and connect communities for generations to come. Our Commercial, Performance and Strategy team ensure sound commercial management of our projects through development and deployment of tools, frameworks and capabilities throughout the project lifecycle, as well as development, execution and management of project financing strategies including private sector financing and concession arrangements.

The opportunity

We are currently hiring Project Review Coordinators to join one of our Sydney teams. These roles are responsible for performing day-to-day project operation and administrative activities to support project specific and ongoing team related objectives. This includes developing and coordinating efficient project management and administrative systems and processes to support effective time management and liaison on behalf of team members and ensure co-ordination of briefs and reports.

Key accountabilities:

  • Support the implementation of the assurance framework across project performance.
  • Support the successful implementation of the framework and guidance to guide consistent project deep dive reviews to ensure projects will be successful and meet agreed expectations.
  • Review and monitor the program of project deep dive reviews for projects, including ensuring appropriate reviews take place and monitoring the close-out /implementation of agreed corrective actions and escalate non-compliance or issues where necessary.
  • Maintain documentation and records to support the assurance function that includes producing reports and completing analysis to demonstrate internal audit/assurance requirements are met.
  • Actively contributes to continuous improvement of the service quality culture by ensuring findings from all reviews are considered and incorporated into business processes.
  • Undertake or participate in audits/reviews where required to develop knowledge and understanding of customer requirements.

About you

You will have demonstrated knowledge and experience in administration and coordination ideally within transport infrastructure and/or office management; demonstrated ability in applying office and project management administration procedures, as well as knowledge and experience in the application of corporate management systems and proficient computing skills, including Microsoft Office applications with an ability to present information and data in a logical and coherent manner. You will be able to work collaboratively and communicate confidently with stakeholders at various levels.

You will have strong problem solving skills, be self-directed in your approach to tasks and able to tackle a wide range of issues and challenges. You will have demonstrated experience managing multiple tasks in a time sensitive environment and be able to work independently and contribute effectively in a collaborative team environment whilst maintaining a high level of work ethic.

Salary and benefits

Project Review Coordinator is a TfNSW Grade 7 ($103,965 - $116,441) per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.
