We also lead the procurement of transport infrastructure and oversee delivery through project delivery offices and industry delivery partners.

Our Digital Systems Business Integration (DSBI) team sits between the Digital Systems Program and the Operating Business with the objective of skillfullly supporting DSP with interfacing to the various Sydney Trains stakeholders and supporting the business units in achieving operation readiness with new assets, tools and processes going into revenue service. 
The team operates as part of the Digital Systems Program. They are also responsible for delivering Transformation activities for and in tandem with the various Sydney Trains business units

The opportunity 

Right now, we have an opportunity for a Manager Digital Systems Assurance to join us in Strategy, Portfolio Investment (SPI) to lead the assurance function and associated activities for the Digital Systems Business Integration Unit. 
The role is to support the design, development and implementation of digital systems, undertake due diligence activities on behalf of Sydney Trains and NSWTL while also ensuring assurance deliverables of the DSBI Team and Sydney Trains are achieved

What you will be involved in:

• Developing the assurance arguments for the DSBI responsibilities and supporting the achievement of these 
• Managing the assurance interface between the projects, Operations, Engineering and Maintenance, , particularly organisational changes being delivered by the transformation team
• Establishing the Assurance Plan and GSN ensuring Digital Systems are able to be integrated reliabilly and safely into the operations in accordance with regulatory and operational standards
• Report up to various Sydney Trains and NSW TrainLink Executives and senior leaders
• Manage Digital Systems audits and liaise with regulators on assurance matters in consultation with Sydney Trains Safety Environment Quality Risk
• Manage Digital Systems risks that may have potential risk on rail services (Operations and maintenance)

About you 

You are likely to be qualified in either Engineering/Business/Project Management with experience implementing and managing Integration and Assurance activities in an operations delivery environment.
You will have proven experience developing assurance plans, GSN and Safety Assurance reports, ideally as a subject matter expert (SME), and your open communication and strong ability to engage with people at all levels means you can work collaboratively with people in a pragmatic manner that achieve positive assurance outcomes.
This interesting 10+ year project will see you manage assurance activities for a new technology not used before in NSW and join a dynamic team that empowers people to take charge and be recognised for their contributions.
