The Role

An exciting new opportunity has arisen in the newly created position of Surveillance Images Officer. This position sits within the Transperth Train Operations Division (TTO) and requires a high level of knowledge and experience in coordinating and retrieving surveillance digital imagery. The incumbent will be responsible for providing an effective service for the storage, security, retrieval and management of CCTV digital imagery.

To be considered for this role you must have:

  • Demonstrated understanding of the rules for the protection and acceptability of evidence, including the ability to respect confidentiality at all times;
  • Well developed administrative and data entry skills, including the ability to competently use appropriate video surveillance software packages;
  • Ability to communicate and deal with people at all levels;
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment;
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and reports as required;
  • Ability to competently use appropriate video surveillance software packages.

Applicants must be in possession of a current WA 'C' or 'C-A' class Driver's Licence or equivalent. There is currently one permanent, full time position available for an immediate start. Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool for 12 months from which permanent, and fixed term appointments with the possibility of extension and/or permanency, will be made.
