The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a civil drainage engineer with infrastructure project experience (road, rail, civil) within a design or construction environment to join our civil engineering team in Victoria.

You’ll be an important member of the civil team, providing engineering services to the transport projects including road and rail infrastructure.

You will be responsible for study, design, modelling and specification of roads, drainage, underground utilities and other civil engineering works.

You will work with a talented team of high performing engineers through an exciting growth phase for our business.

You will have day to day interaction with technical specialists, who will be actively involved in supporting your professional growth, including achieving Engineering Chartership.

We place a strong emphasis on collaboration, both within our local office and KBR nationally, and as such you will likely work with interstate colleagues on exciting engineering projects.

You will work with a diverse team of highly regarded people who are committed to ensuring we remain a key partner to our clients, not to mention a key contributor to delivering projects.

The Senior Sustainability Adviser will have the following qualifications and experience

  • Hold an accredited bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil/Structural)
  • Demonstrate recent experience working with consultants, contractors, and government agencies in designing or delivering infrastructure projects.
  • Strong technical design ability specifically transport infrastructure design and in using civil drainage design modelling software packages
  • Familiarity and application of appropriate design codes (Austroads, State Transport Authority Design Guides)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
