WHAT YOU’LL DO

As a Senior Rolling Stock Engineer, you will be part of a team ensuring that projects are delivered to achieve Calibre and client objectives. You will be working on a project involving new rail infrastructures & maintenance. You will also partake in;

  • Assisting with setting the strategic direction for the project in line with the business unit strategy
  • Measuring and reporting on progress against project plan
  • Clarifying key stakeholder needs and allocating resources to ensure the delivery of effective outcomes

This is a Permanent Full-Time opportunity to join our Perth team.

WHO YOU ARE

You will be driven and ambitious Senior Engineer with a broad range of experience in light wagons and locomotives as well as possessing the following;

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Engineering) or equivalent post graduate qualifications with experience in the rail or civil industry
  • 7+ Years in the Rail industry providing expert advice and support to large scale projects
  • Assisting with compliance of rolling stock projects with relevant legislation and technical specifications
  • Experience working with engineering systems
  • Rail or Heavy Transport field with a working knowledge of the constraints that impact the industry and how proven experience in overcoming these challenges
  • An understanding of rail technologies that influence operations, including global signalling practices, ETCS, CBTC, rolling stock systems, stations and network infrastructure
  • The ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing to contribute to business case development and preparation of documentations
