What can our construction projects build for you?

Parramatta Light Rail Stage 1 is a design and construct Rail project based in the Western Suburbs at a value of approximately $840M. The project will connect Westmead to Carlingford via the Parramatta CBD and Camellia with a 12-kilometre, two-way track. This 50:50 joint venture with Downer includes construction of:

  • Light rail track, roadworks and stop platforms;
  • Transport interchanges at Westmead, Parramatta CBD and Carlingford; and
  • New light rail and pedestrian zones along Church and Macquarie Streets in the Parramatta CBD, and urban design.

The opportunity

Based in Paramatta, the project is seeking a highly experienced Personal Assistant to the Project Director. This critical position will:
  • Provide assistance with general administrative needs and provide personal assistance by maintaining diaries, handling day to day issues for the Project Director.
  • Transcribe confidential written work in the form of letters, contracts, reports and prepare presentations.
  • Manage and coordinate senior leadership management meetings, including all equipment and catering as required.
  • Liaise and maintain professional communications with all stakeholders such as; TfNSW, Senior Leadership team members, joint venture representatives and other PA’s/EA’s.
  • Coordinate assembly and submission of the Client Monthly Report each month.
  • Assist with registering, filing and submitting Client correspondence via Teambinder.
  • Provide efficient delivery of documentation for monthly SteerCo Meetings, weekly SLT Meetings, weekly Business Unit Reports and monthly CCG Meetings.
  • Prepare an distribute minutes for Senior Leadership Team Meetings and SteerCo Meetings.
  • Coordination and administration of tasks such as; maintaining expense claim register, prioritise incoming correspondence & phone calls, travel coordination, photocopying, scanning, mail, equipment repairs.

About You

To be successful for this role, you will have:
  • Extensive experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication skills
  • High attention to detail and strong time management skills.
  • Effective relationship building capabilities with both internal and external stakeholders
  • The ability to prioritise you work, manage competing tasks easily and work with a sense of urgency.
  • The ability to work well under pressure and also maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
