The role

An experienced Production Worker / Machine Operator is required to join a steel manufacturing organisation based at Sunnybank on the Southside of Brisbane. Successful applicants will be required to operate large machinery to bend metal, process work, pack finished product, sorting & finishing products and maintaining a safe and clean workplace.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Valid Forklift Licence (mandatory)
  • Wear own Yellow PPE (mandatory)
  • Prior experience as a production operator
  • Heavy Lifting - up to 20kgs
  • Have a current drivers licence and reliable car
  • Organising line set ups based on requirements of the production schedule
  • Commitment to safety
  • Be physically fit to carry out manual handling tasks
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Able to follow tasks and take direction
