What will you be doing?

Due to recent project wins, Arcadis is looking for a Senior Environment Consultant or Environmental Consultant to join our expanding Environment team based in Sydney.

Your role will include, but are not limited to:
Managing and preparing impact assessments and reviewing technical studies/design drawings
Supporting integrated approvals processes (federal, state and local) for major infrastructure developments (road, rail, waste and water)
Project management including commercial aspects, resources and timelines
Working collaboratively within multi-disciplinary project teams, providing environmental advice to other Arcadis service lines
Preparing proposals and identifying opportunities for client development (in a supported and targeted manner)
Providing support to the Team Leader to achieve sector goals and championing a quality, innovative, client-focused and entrepreneurial culture.

Who are we looking for?

You will come to us with:

Significant experience in impact assessment (e.g. due diligence, REF, EIS (SSD/SSI)) and/or post-approvals (e.g. CEMPs, compliance tracking, auditing, OEMPs, on-site environmental management)
A reputation for delivering high-quality work, building excellent team morale and client relationships
Demonstrated commercial acumen and the ability to manage budgets
Familiarity with infrastructure related approvals (road, rail, SSI and CSSI) will be highly regarded
Previous experience with a management consulting, engineering or construction firm
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science, Planning or Engineering
