  • About Our Client

    My client is a high performing civil contractor who work on some of the states most recognised major transport and infrastructure projects in NSW. They deliver have helped deliver landmark projects in Roadworks, Rail and Infrastructure. The business are known for not only their projects but also their empowering culture, collaborative team structure and supportive senior management.

    Job Description

    This a brand new role that will be a pivotal part in developing and forming the foundation of their design experiences for the brand. The Lead Product Designer will be responsible for the following;
    • Lead the overall UX UI and Product Designs for the brands Digital Assets (web and mobile);
    • Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows, sitemaps and wireframes in low and high fidelity design concepts;
    • Act as the Subject matter Design Expert and review, audit and provide relevant fee
      • Coordinate and manage civil engineering activities across the allocated project
      • Assist the PM with budget and cost reports
      • Liaising with clients understanding their needs from start to finish
      • Understand design to be implemented in the allocated project
      • Suggest improvements of current designs
      • Driving compliance of OH&S requirements
      • Overseeing letting of tenders
      • Mentor or manage members of the project team

      The Successful Applicant

      • Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or Construction
      • Competent in delivering medium to large civil projects
      • Demonstrated understanding of Roadworks, Rail and/or Concrete Structures
      • Strong management and leadership skills
      • Safety minded individual
      • Australian working rights are essential
