We have been engaged to find a civilengineering design project manger / team lead with a really well regardedconsultancy. For this particular role, I'm looking forquite an experienced person who knows their civil engineering design technicalniche(s) quite well, and loves mentoring others, with just under 10 peoplein the team they will oversee. There's work that comes in across otherengineering disciplines, though there is a need for direct business developmenttoo. Currently, the client list includes councils, mines, TfNSW & rail /ARTC to name a few.

Growth has been a factor of late and they areclosing on 100 employees working across Australian. The strategic growth planover the next 5 years includes an aim for that figure to at least double, so a desireto grow a team would be a great attribute too.

There's a very trusting oversight stylein place, so this role wouldn't suit someone who enjoys a heavilystructured environment. It's more for someone who focuses on deliveryand guides a team that way too. I know some of the employees are doing someof their 40 hours per week in the evenings, so that can be more involved intheir kid's lives - It's all about enjoying your work, delivery and clientsatisfaction here, with client care the key to it all.
