About the opportunity

The Senior Sustainability Adviser position is within the Land, Planning and Environment (LPE) team, reporting to the Manager, Environmental Management and Sustainability. The LPE team is a high-performing team responsible for obtaining key approvals, managing land, and overseeing environmental and sustainability performance for the transport infrastructure of the project.

This role will work with the Manager, Environmental Management and Sustainability to ensure the project implements the Sustainability Policy and delivers on the associated targets and commitments across the procurement, construction, and practical completion phases. ISCA and GBCA outcomes will be mandated for our delivery partners.

You will be a proactive, engaged, and detail-oriented person who is comfortable operating with a high level of autonomy and is looking to progress their career to the next level whilst contributing to the delivery of city-shaping public infrastructure. Day to day you will be working closely with technical advisers, and internal and external stakeholders to advise and problem-solve on a range of complex issues, whilst seeking opportunities for positive sustainability outcomes.

This role will require a person with experience managing technical advisers and working within a large multi-disciplinary team. You will possess the ability to form strong and collaborative working relationships with a diverse range of SRLA project teams, technical advisers, and key stakeholders.
