JOB DESCRIPTION

MTIA is established as an Administrative Office under the Public Administration Act 2004 as a specialist organisation, comprising skilled and experienced staff across the various professional disciplines involved in transport infrastructure project delivery. Led by the Director-General, it has five key groups: Level Crossing Removal Project, Major Road Projects Victoria, the North East Link Project, Rail Projects Victoria and the West Gate Tunnel Project. The Minister for Transport Infrastructure is the responsible Minister for the projects which are developed and delivered by MTIA.

About this Opportunity

Reporting to the MTIA General Counsel, the Commercial and Legal Specialist will work within the Office of the Director-General to provide advice and guidance in relation to a broad range of commercial, legal and related issues in relation to the Major Transport Infrastructure Program.

The Commercial and Legal Specialist will have experience influencing stakeholders at all levels to ensure decisions are informed and best for the Authority and Project Groups.
