Applications are invited from suitably qualified personnel for a Sugar Loader at our Proserpine Mill. This position is shift work during the crush. Position may be Seasonal or Permanent dependent on the successful candidates year round skill set and this will be determined on a case by case basis by Management.

Job Vacancy

The main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Use mobile plant to clean spills, re-rail full and empty bins and other tasks as required.
• Assist with start-up and shutdown of Milling Train and Boilers
• Clean and lubricate spotters, carriers, pinions and other areas as required.
• Assist Shift Trades people and preparation of mills for maintenance as required
• Carry out other duties as required by Operations Coordinator

Selection Criteria will include the following:

• Work safely and look after the safety of others
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Be able to provide regular and accurate feedback on work to be completed
• Adapt to and support ongoing change as well as any further training
• Hold a manual 'C' class driver's license.
• Able to obtain or hold the following tickets:
  • Dogger's Ticket
  • Mobile Crane Non-Slewing
  • End loader
  • Forklift
  • Bobcat
  • Overhead Crane Ticket
