Full Job Description
Location: Picton

Remuneration/Benefit: Attractive Wages as per EA

About the role:
Working as part of the Rollingstock Maintenance team, you will be required to perform the duties associated with the maintenance and repair of locomotives and wagons.

Undertake examination and inspection of rollingstock.
Safely carry out shunting of wagons as required within the workshop areas.
Identify faults, repair, service and maintain rollingstock as part of a train or as single vehicles.
Carry out repairs, component change out, servicing and modification to rollingstock.
Provide support functions for the maintenance of locomotives, rollingstock, ancillary vehicles, machines and equipment.
Provide material requirements to ensure safe and efficient running of rollingstock.
Operate fixed and mobile plant as required.
Attend to depot and yard duties.

About you: Those who have shunting experience or are shunt qualified are highly encouraged to apply.

A strong commitment to safety.
Strong interpersonal communication skills.
Capacity and motivation to understand business operations and business drivers.
Ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
Mechanical aptitude and sound problem-solving skills.
The ability to work autonomously or in a team.
A current C Class driving license (or equivalent).
