As such, we’re looking to bolster our senior EES/EIA capability and hire a technical lead to provide expertise on Victoria based environmental assessment and approvals, deliver on city and community-enhancing projects, and bring connectivity and market eminence. We currently have a good pipeline but need someone who can bolster own forward work load.

Some of the key projects we’ve recently been involved in:

  • DoT Transport Network Planning, Technical & Communication Services panel – WSP provide planning and environmental services for the Intermodal Freight Precinct Business Case and Design Development and Costing for the Outer Metropolitan Ring Transport Corridor (OMR).
  • Beaufort Bypass Environmental Effects Statement (EES) – existing conditions, options assessment, community engagement, environmental impact assessments, EES authoring and Planning Scheme Amendment for the Beaufort Bypass component of the Western Highway duplication.
  • Southern Program Alliance, Level Crossing Removals – environment and planning approvals, assessment and management during the delivery stage of multiple level crossing removals in Melbourne’s south.

What We'll Love About You

You will have contributed to projects of varying value, including large EES/EIA’s, and bring the following:
  • 10+ years' project management and environmental technical leadership experience
  • Proven ability to develop and enhance relationships, securing growth and future workload through the pursuit and winning of new work in addition to providing mentoring and technical development to the team
  • Ability to identify, develop strategies for and manage environmental issues associated with the environment and planning elements of large engineering projects
  • Significant experience in providing strategic advice to clients whilst leading and independently managing multiple projects and project teams
  • A demonstrated understanding of Commonwealth and State planning and environmental legislation, approvals and regulatory framework
  • Formal qualifications in environmental science, environmental engineering or urban and regional planning related disciplines
