We are currently seeking a People & Culture Coordinator for our Brisbane office. To providing a range of operational support and administrative services to the National P&C team.
About the Role
The P&C Coordinator’s role is critical in assisting the People & Culture function in meeting operational requirements in supporting a division with a headcount of 4000 employees that onboard and demobilise up to 3600 candidates p.a.
Reporting to the P&C Advisor, QLD you will:
  • Consults with the P&C Advisor in performing key responsibilities and makes recommendations to achieve the goals and plans of the P&C function across the country.
  • Identifies areas for improvement in relation to their role, the team and at an organisational level and raises these as opportunities for continuous improvement to systems and processes.
  • Represents the Resources, Utilities & Renewables divisions in dealings with candidates, internal employees (including Senior Management), the Recruitment team and broader P&C function, and the Payroll department.
  • Organises and maintains personnel records, updates internal HR databases, and prepares and issues HR documentation.
About You
  • Qualification in Human Resources or similar (or working towards) preferred.
  • High attention to detail essential
  • Methodical and organised approach to work
  • Advanced computer skills (MS Office, SAP, Taleo)
  • Previous experience in a busy office environment
  • Ability to balance multiple and conflicting deadlines
  • Well-developed communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Able to maintain strict confidentiality
