About the Team:

Our Freight Branch, part of the Customer Strategy and Technology Division, lead and coordinate the safe, productive and sustainable movement of goods in and through NSW.

The Policy and Regulatory Reform team are TfNSW domain experts and lead a broad program of freight policy development and regulatory reform.

The Opportunity:

We are currently recruiting for a Project Officer to join the Policy and Regulatory Reform team within Freight.

The Project Officer role within the Policy Advisory unit will provide support to the Policy and Regulatory Reform team. The Project Officer will perform research and project support activities, including procurement of contracts, to contribute to the development and delivery of evidence-based policy initiatives and reforms.

About You:

We are looking for individuals who are proactive, have the ability to work collaboratively across the team and have exceptional written communication skills.

Relevant tertiary qualifications together with some experience in a policy support role and/or project coordination role within government would be desirable.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is Grade 7 ($103,965 - $116,441) per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.
