About the Role

The Service Delivery Team Leader role is based in Adelaide and leads a geographically diverse team of Service Delivery professionals. The team supports the operational technology requirements for our Marine & Tourism and Public Transport divisions that are located across Australia. The position faces key stakeholders such as Business Unit General Managers and is responsible for ensuring a high quality of technology service is delivered.

This role has three primary responsibilities:

  • Exceed our internal customer’s expectations for operational technology requirements
  • Protect and improve our groups operational technology environments
  • Build and lead a high performing Service Delivery team that collaborates effectively with other teams

  • Familiarity with best practices in network operations
  • Ability to work as part of a service delivery team
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Ability to contribute to training activities and collateral as required

Skills, Qualifications & Experience

  • Technical operations management skills, specifically complex or highly configurable IT systems.
  • Team leadership and customer service skills.
  • IT Service Management (ITSM) skills including customer needs management, service processes, work management and continual improvement.
  • Stakeholder management and communications.
  • Exceptional planning, communication and leadership skills.
  • A relevant degree qualification in IT, Computer Science or equivalent industry experience.
  • Project or Service Delivery Management certification desirable.
  • A strong service delivery background and minimum 5 years’ experience in a related role.
  • Systems analysis of complex services or applications desired.
  • Experience in the Travel and Tourism Industry preferred.
