About the role:
- Coordinate the development of train operations and rolling stock maintenance work plans
- Demonstrate effective stakeholder management to facilitate efficient execution of work plans
- Coordinate and liaise with customers and all elements of the logistics chain, to ensure customer expectations and operational requirements are met
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to optimise the interface between train operations and maintenance
- Monitor the execution of work plans to ensure efficient use of assets and resources, demonstrating a continuous improvement focus
- Drive improved productivity and cost outcomes through optimised scheduling and execution of train operations and maintenance plans
- Develop and implement systems and procedures to improve current supply chain processes and performance
- Liaise with senior stakeholders to support with long term strategic planning
- Support the relevant stakeholders with train operations activities as required
About you:
- Relevant experience in Supply Chain from a heavy industrial background
- Strong computer skills and experience using SAP and Excel
- Ability to lead and influence others to drive outcomes
- Flexible and dedicated individual with ability to challenge
- Planning and scheduling experience across both immediate and long-term projects
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
