About the role:

  • Coordinate the development of train operations and rolling stock maintenance work plans
  • Demonstrate effective stakeholder management to facilitate efficient execution of work plans
  • Coordinate and liaise with customers and all elements of the logistics chain, to ensure customer expectations and operational requirements are met
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to optimise the interface between train operations and maintenance
  • Monitor the execution of work plans to ensure efficient use of assets and resources, demonstrating a continuous improvement focus
  • Drive improved productivity and cost outcomes through optimised scheduling and execution of train operations and maintenance plans
  • Develop and implement systems and procedures to improve current supply chain processes and performance
  • Liaise with senior stakeholders to support with long term strategic planning
  • Support the relevant stakeholders with train operations activities as required

About you: 

  • Relevant experience in Supply Chain from a heavy industrial background
  • Strong computer skills and experience using SAP and Excel
  • Ability to lead and influence others to drive outcomes
  • Flexible and dedicated individual with ability to challenge
  • Planning and scheduling experience across both immediate and long-term projects
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
