MTIA is established as an Administrative Office under the Public Administration Act 2004 as a specialist organisation, comprising skilled and experienced staff across the various professional disciplines involved in transport infrastructure project delivery. Led by the Director-General, it has five key groups: Level Crossing Removal Project, Major Road Projects Victoria, the North East Link Project, Rail Projects Victoria and the West Gate Tunnel Project. The Minister for Transport Infrastructure is the responsible Minister for the projects which are developed and delivered by MTIA.
About the opportunity
Play a strategic role in Victoria's transport construction boom. As a Senior Lawyer in the Office of the Director General, you will shape the oversight and coordination of major rail and road projects, including the Level Crossing Removal Project, Major Road Projects, Metro Tunnel, West Gate Tunnel and North East Link. Operating in a complex and collaborative environment, you will work with highly talented project delivery teams and stakeholders across government. You will be able to apply your expertise in advising on complex commercial, legal and governance issues to support Victoria's biggest transport program.
