About the Role

The primary function of the Café Team Leader role is the provision of excellence in customer service via the land and vessel based Cafés. This is a part-time or full-time leave replacement position.


The Café Team Leader is responsible for the daily operations, business growth and achievement of budgets for the land based café team, including supplier relationships and pricing negotiation, menu development, food preparation and presentation, stock levels, and team training and development.

The Café Team Leader will also oversee the cleaning requirements of both terminals and vessels, including the supervising of the cleaning team. A strong focus will be on compliance with health and safety legislation requirements.

This position requires ‘hands on’ duties as well as the Team Leader responsibilities. As the business operates 364 days a year, flexibility and availability is essential to ensure operations are performing at a high level outside normal business hours.

  • Tourism industry Experience
