We are currently seeking a Document Controller to join our team on the South Eastern Program Alliance, for work on our Level Crossing Removal Project!

About the role:

In this role, you will support the project by developing, improving and adhering to efficient document control processes and performing efficient document control and records management.

This is a 12 month maximum-term contract, primarily based at our Alliance office in Mont Albert, with some travel to our site locations along Melbourne's South-East & offices in Melbourne's CBD, where required.

As an MTM employee you will have access to free-travel along the network and will also have access to a pooled vehicle.


* Maintenance and delivery of records/data management services and systems
* Collate, record and disseminate commentary from reviews and close out subsequent document revisions as required
* Establish working relationships with stakeholders and ensure adherence to document control processes
* Manage and maintain information flow and reports for the project
* Provide feedback on system effectiveness
* Check information on drawings for conformance with status and format agreed
* Maintain audit schedules and conduct project quality audits
* Ensure internally created documents conform to agreed project standards and follow review processes to ensure compliance is achieved
* Ensure TeamBinder is up-to-date and is in accordance with the Document Records Management Plan

Desired experience:

* 3 to 5 years' experience in Document Control.
* Good level experience in using document management systems such as Team Binder and Aconex.
* Ability to use and maintain administrative systems.
* Effective time management skills, prioritising to ensure deadlines are strictly adhered to.
* Ability to interpret and analyse information relating to the executive offices.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and staff (verbal and written).
