About the Client:

Our client is a leader in the Manufacturing Industry, supplying engineered and innovative cable products. They provide high-quality, customised and unique cable solutions to customers with a manufacturing facility and head office in Port Melbourne. They currently need experienced Machine Operators for an immediate start in Port Melbourne.

Plastic or Rubber Extrusion Machine Operation experience would be highly regarded in this position.

The role:

Tecside Group are currently seeking an experienced Machine Operators. The role is starting ASAP on an on-going casual basis with the view for permanency after 3 months. To be considered for the role, you must have the below experience:

• Plastic and Rubber Extrusion
• Compound Technician/ Operator

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• MUST be able to commit to rotating shift (Day and Night Shifts)
• MUST be able to commit to 12 hour shifts
• Relevant Machine operator experience
• Strong understanding of OH&S procedures
• Reliable transport
• Forklift Licence is desirable but not essential
• High attention to detail
• Be able to work in a team and independently
