About the opportunity

SRLA is seeking to engage a highly motivated engineering standards and type approvals lead within the Engineering & Assurance branch of its Rail & Infrastructure division. The engineering standards and type approvals lead role will cover the following activities across the SRL project:

  • Managing the assessment, review, and control and ultimate implementation of accepted revised standards to the SRL project
  • Managing the development of new standards and guidelines associated with new types of infrastructure and systems
  • Collaborating with and influencing the Department of Transport, rail industry stakeholders and accredited rail operators on standards development activities, ensuring best for State and Project outcomes
  • Working closely with SRLA's Requirements Manager to establish and maintain standards baselines for the SRL project, including managing baseline changes throughout the project lifecycle.
