We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Supervisor to join our team and help deliver the Sydney Metro City and Southwest project. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising the execution of field activities of direct workforce and subcontractors. This will include looking after Environment, Health and Safety (EHS), Quality and schedule.

Key Responsibilities for This Role Include:

  • Assist Signalling Installation teams with supervision of subcontractors.
  • Monitor and control of installation work package progress against project schedule.
  • Manage sequencing of installation contractors and ensure all appropriate permits and approvals are in place.
  • Monitor and lead EHS requirements from a site perspective (Pre-start meetings, Safe Work Method Statements etc.) and ensure Alstom’s ‘Zero Deviation Plan’ is adhered to.
  • Support the handover process and associated documentation to the Testing and Commissioning Team.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience Required Includes:
  • Electrical Trade qualification with sound technical competence and experience.
  • Previous experience working with rail signalling, communications, security or similar.
  • Expertise handling subcontractors in a complex work environment.
  • Exposure to leading a diverse and multicultural team.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
