The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and talented Social Scientist or Planner to join a leading infrastructure consultancy and contribute to the growth and development of a business with a reputation for technical excellence and strong client relationships.

With 6+ years’ experience working with major infrastructure projects, your key tasks would include:

  • Delivery of social analysis and research to inform project development and decision making.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships both internally and externally to ensure effective client management.
  • Delivery of Social Impact Assessments and Social Impact Management plans within the infrastructure, renewables and resource sectors.
  • Proactively collaborate with the team to ensure commercial success.

Suitable applicants will have:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in social sciences (or similar such as land use planning or communications)
  • Experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to research, collate and analyse data in a timely manner.
  • Must have a high level of proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to work within tight deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary environment.
