About the role:

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced General Manager operating at a Senior strategic level to join our flagship operation based in South Perth.

Reporting directly the CEO, this key position requires an exceptional leader with demonstrated success managing a high-performing team as well the ability to network, grow and develop business and manage the day to day operations of the Branch.

You will hold responsibility for managing a large, highly-profitable team across multiple industry sectors including Oil & Gas, Mining, Construction, Industrial, Ops and Maintenance for both blue collar locally, regionally and offshore.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Day to day management of the team
  • Driving continued growth through existing and new business
  • Developing and executing strategies for the continued success of the WA Operations
  • Managing monthly P&L and Budget
  • Conducting Performance Reviews
  • Quality & Compliance
  • Reporting

This role requires an individual who is focused with a drive to succeed. Importantly, you must have an absolute passion for the job and the industry to ensure you offer the utmost professionalism to candidates and clients.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Strong business development skills
  • A solid network and strong account management skills
  • Commercial experience related to reporting, forecasting, contract management and financial accounting management.
  • Experience within a blue and white collar environment
  • Excellent time management skills in which to handle a fast paced role
  • Commitment to mentoring and managing your team
  • Energy and drive to lead a team from the front and the passion to succeed
  • Attention to detail

This role would suit an individual who has solid recruitment, sales and people management skills within an agency environment. Experience across a wide range of industries and sectors would be preferable.
