Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Business Manager to manage the Chemical Operations and lead continuous improvement across one of the largest hazard facilities in the country. You will be responsible for customer relationships, dangerous goods compliance, health and safety, administration, along with the warehousing and transport operation. In this role you are accountable to drive all aspects of the Laverton operation to optimise and drive efficient delivery against our customer contracts, the site operational plan and financial targets.


Experience in logistics industry with demonstrated knowledge of warehouse & transport operations.
Knowledge of Dangerous Goods highly desirable.
Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations and fatigue management as it pertains to the Transport industry, specifically including dangerous goods.
Strong customer service orientation, incorporating an excellent understanding and strong curiosity about our customers and what adds value to them.
Experience in process redesign, specifically identifying opportunities to deliver improvement to health and safety, quality, cost and service.
Demonstrated strong management and leadership skills driving a culture of high performance.
A sound understanding of financial metrics to enable operational decisions and lead to improved financial performance.
Strong knowledge and experience of Warehouse Management Systems at the advanced level.
