Due to continued growth in Western Australia we currently have an opportunity for a results driven, high performing Internal Recruiter to recruit across our projects and head office function.


This role is highly relationship-driven and requires you to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enable you to tailor the selection process, interviewer questions and sell messages to particular candidates.


Key Responsibilities


  • Deliver end-to-end recruitment, inclusive of a meticulous approach to both systems and documentation
  • Partner closely with key stakeholders
  • Coordinate the recruitment process in accordance with the organisation’s recruitment procedures,
  • Respond to enquiries from candidates and hiring managers about the organisation’s and project’s recruitment activities and about the status of job vacancies
  • Contact candidates, arrange interview times and develop appropriate interview questions in collaboration with the hiring manager 
  • Interview, test, rank, check references, select candidates and provide feedback to unsuccessful candidates based on the position’s pre-established selection criteria and the organisation’s and/or project’s recruitment procedures


Key Qualification and Experience


  • Degree qualified in HR or related tertiary qualification/s, or lesser qualifications with substantial experience in recruitment
  • Minimum 3 years end-to-end recruitment experience coupled with a demonstrated ability to attract and engage talent
  • Exposure to the construction engineering industry, in disciplines such as rail and associated infrastructure highly desirable but not essential
  • Demonstrated exposure to a blend of both in-house and agency recruitment across technical, commercial and management roles highly desirable
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, enabling you to maintain effective communication with all levels of the organisation
  • The ability to manage your own time and set priorities within time constraints and conflicting demands
  • Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
