About the role

Our Client is a well established warehousing and distribution company based in Somerton, Melbourne!

On-site they distribute a diverse range of chemicals and ingredients, and they are looking for an experienced High Reach Forklift Operator to start ASAP!

You will be required to spend 3-4 hours of your day completing administrative tasks, and the remainder of your day will be spent on a High Reach Forklift, as well as working on the floor to complete general storeman duties!

This is a temp to perm opportunity; hours being 7:30am - 4:00pm.

Specifically, you will be required to perform the following tasks:

• Reach and counterbalance forklift (gas) operations
• Warehousing and relevant tasks including loading, unloading, picking, RF scanning etc.
• Warehouse Admin duties including checking orders, customer service, processing orders, invoicing, emailing transport carriers, creating consignment notes etc.

This position is best suited to someone who is seeking longevity and stability, and someone who is wanting a diverse role doing both admin and warehousing tasks!

To be successful, you must:

• Have minimum 2 years' of previous relevant experience
• Have substantial computer skills
• Have a valid drivers licence and reliable transport
• Have a valid forklift licence
• Have full working rights
• Be driven, and have a strong customer focus!
