The role/s sit within the Rail Project Delivery Team – Delivery, Strategy & Innovation (DSI), reporting to the Executive Director - DSI, which is responsible for a portfolio of projects in the delivery phase. The post holder will collaborate across multiple projects in Rail Project Delivery and Development working closely with Project Directors and key Transport staff to set up projects for success from Development to Delivery.

The opportunity

The role strategically leads and acts as a single point of interface for the development, management and negotiation of business-client relationships between executive leaders, project delivery teams and the client organisation to ensure conflicts, challenges and issues are proactively identified and managed and client requirements and expectations are met.

You are a tertiary qualified, seasoned, major projects development and delivery strategy professional looking for an opportunity to build a world class delivery function:

You are an executive with strong stakeholder management and relationship building skills.
You have experience providing expert advice and a portfolio view of projects to clients, building their insight and understanding of portfolios and how to streamline projects successfully.
You are someone that has demonstrated experience managing complex and changing client priorities and challenges to deliver on time and on budget.
You have experience gathering insights from data and conceptualising it to enable clients to make meaning from this.
You have demonstrated experience and understanding of project governance and how to minimise risk.
You have a strong track record leading outcomes of improvement.
You are experienced in managing competing and complex demands with a diverse range of stakeholders to enable successful delivery of projects
You understand the balance of addressing client requirements whilst adhering to other regulatory, policy, government and operational conditions.
