The Project Director leads the delivery and is accountable for a project or projects which provide new or upgraded infrastructure, place, rolling stock or rail systems, as commissioned by the Greater Sydney or ROM Divisions. The role is accountable for all aspects of project delivery including time, cost, quality, community, risk management and stakeholder outcomes.
About you
Your significant experience leading multi-disciplinary teams delivering a portfolio of strategic projects and extensive knowledge of transport planning practices, including best practice developments locally and abroad will be highly regarded.
You will support the Executive Director to actively engage with Transport for NSW Divisions, Operating Agencies and relevant subject matter experts to drive an integrated approach to rail infrastructure delivery.
You will work in close collaboration with the Delivery Strategy and Improvement Section to understand the current and future pipeline of work to be delivered on behalf of the Greater Sydney and ROM Divisions to achieve improved network performance and place and precinct renewal outcomes for customers.
You are well-grounded and experienced in the resolution of high profile project issues and delivery problems and skilled in coaching, mentoring, identifying and sharing best practices as required. You are a strong collaborator, adaptable, pro-active and not afraid of getting involved to produce the required outcomes. You will be tertiary qualified with relevant leadership and project development experience.
