About the role:
- Full-time permanent role
- Provide engineering advice and support to the Maintenance & Construction teams
- Undertake maintenance engineering to manage sometimes extraordinary and oftentimes challenging day-of-operations problems
- Develop intimate knowledge of your assets to Inform a multi-year, multi-million dollar asset renewal program
- Investigate incidents and develop relevant recovery plans
- Review and revise asset management standards to improve the network availability and reliability
- Develop customer specific upgrade programs
- Organise and plan the technical aspects of Civil projects
- Design, check and audit civil systems submitted by design team and/or external providers
- Ensure civil designs produced conform to business and industry best practice
About you:
- Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering (Mandatory)
- Previous experience in a similar role (Highly Desirable)
- Ability to work with a high level of autonomy
- Enjoy actively investigating problems and finding solutions
- Exceptional communication skills with all business levels
- Safety conscious individual with the ability to provide clear, concise instructions
- Willing to travel to various locations on CQCN as required
- Be hands on with a can-do attitude
- Be proactive and take initiative wherever possible
- A desire to be challenged and a willingness to learn
