About the role:

• Full-time permanent role
• Provide engineering advice and support to the Maintenance & Construction teams
• Undertake maintenance engineering to manage sometimes extraordinary and oftentimes challenging day-of-operations problems
• Develop intimate knowledge of your assets to Inform a multi-year, multi-million dollar asset renewal program
• Investigate incidents and develop relevant recovery plans
• Review and revise asset management standards to improve the network availability and reliability
• Develop customer specific upgrade programs
• Organise and plan the technical aspects of Civil projects
• Design, check and audit civil systems submitted by design team and/or external providers
• Ensure civil designs produced conform to business and industry best practice

About you: 

• Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering (Mandatory)
• Previous experience in a similar role (Highly Desirable)
• Ability to work with a high level of autonomy
• Enjoy actively investigating problems and finding solutions
• Exceptional communication skills with all business levels
• Safety conscious individual with the ability to provide clear, concise instructions
• Willing to travel to various locations on CQCN as required
• Be hands on with a can-do attitude
• Be proactive and take initiative wherever possible
• A desire to be challenged and a willingness to learn
