The Role
The Office of Major Transport Infrastructure Delivery (OMTID) currently has a Communications and Engagement Officer role available for 3 years with the possibility of extension.
This position develops and implements communication and community engagement campaigns for the large infrastructure projects being delivered on behalf of OMTID. To be considered suitable for this role you will have significant experience in communication and engagement with expertise in delivering project engagement and communication activities. This will include:
- Ability to deliver a broad range of communication, including print, online, social media and face-to-face, to effectively meet project objectives;
- Strategic communications including creating and implementing communications plans;
- Experience in responding to community enquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner;
- Well-developed computer skills; and
- The ability to negotiate and liaise with a range of internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
