About the role:

• 12-month fixed term role
• Committed to safety within the team and the wider business
• Ensure resources and schedules are prepared in accordance with operational requirements and enterprise agreements
• Build leave rosters and monitoring of freight requirements
• Perform and assist the wider team in maximising efficiency and meeting collaborative deadlines and targets
• Assist teams with changes to service plans, asset loading, resource allocations, customer requirements and the impact of major disruptions
• Accountable for preparing all relevant rosters for crews with timing and accuracy and assisting other team members as required
• Responsible for ensuring that employees with the appropriate operational knowledge are placed on rosters
• Monitor fatigue management in line with rostering and fatigue management principals

About you: 

• Exceptional attitude towards safety and demonstrated safe behaviours in the workplace
• A dedicated team player with superior attention to detail and ability to be flexible
• Have a broad administration skill set with significant computer and excel experience
• Ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a team environment
• Ability to engage and build strong relationships with key stakeholders and customers
• Excellent time management and ability to keep calm under pressure
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
• Demonstrated knowledge of the Microsoft suite and sound general knowledge of rostering software
