JOB DESCRIPTION

The role

Tha project aims to establish a contemporary set of procedures and documents for staff that reflects the division's capabilities, functions and business requirements which supports integrated operations and service delivery. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will work with a consultative working group of subject matter experts to deliver the design, build and implementation of the doctrine review.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Supervise a small team to support the Project Manager in the delivery of the doctrine review
  • Play a key role in designing, building and delivering policies, procedures, guidelines and manuals
  • Negotiate, engage and manage relationships with a variety of internal stakeholders to deliver outcomes within required timeframes
  • Manage and store information in accordance with project and organisational requirements and support maintenance and control of project documentation
  • Present reports defining the above project progress, problems and solutions; implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
  • Prepare and distribute project communications in accordance with communication, change and engagement plans
  • Coordinate the preparation of training materials, including learning guides, assessment tools and presentations as required
  • Ensure timely escalation of project issues to the Project Manager for assessment
  • Plan and coordinate project related activities that align the overall project as directed
Required skills and experience

Successful candidates will have the following skills and experience:
  • Demonstrated experience in project management
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills that demonstrate a commitment to quality outcomes and attention to detail
  • High level stakeholder management skills with a proven ability to negotiate and communicate with influence
  • Demonstrated ability to develop clear, succinct and meaningful policies and procedures
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, sustain high performance and meet deadlines
  • The capacity to think strategically and develop plans and processes to enhance the achievement of business outcomes
  • Demonstrated experience in MS Office 365, SharePoint and Teams and a good understanding of document design
  • Self-directed, highly organised with a proven ability to work effectively as a team member
