About The Role

We are currently seeking a Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Administrator to join our South Eastern Program Alliance (‘SEPA) Project team in Lillydale, VIC. This permanent role offers great career prospects with a privately-owned tier 1 construction and international engineering enterprise. The preferred candidate will have a H&S background, high level of Microsoft Office skills and experience with data management systems.

Key Responsibilities

As a Health, Safety and Environment Administrator, you will be responsible for diary management, planning and coordinating H&S meetings, collecting and collating safety reports, maintaining our safety system and providing all-round administrative support to the H&S team.

  • Proactively deal with HSE and concerns, by engaging with the people performing the task or activity.
  • Foster a culture of respect for the environment and communities in which we work to minimise impacts.
  • Further responsibilities for health and safety, environment and rail safety as specified in the relevant project specific management plans.

Apply the Building Code

Ensuring that you meet all requirements of your role in relation to ensuring compliance with the Building Code 2013 (Cth), the Code for the Tendering and Performance of Building Work 2016 (Cth), and / or the applicable state codes relating to the construction industry (as amended or replaced), including each codes’ supporting guidelines.

About You

You will have administration skills including filing, minute taking and maintaining registers, compiling reports. We are seeking experience with managing multiple diaries and excellent written and verbal communication, and organisational and planning skills. This role requires intermediate level skills in MS Word, Excel and Outlook, and touch-typing skills.
