The company is a has been in operation for over fifteen years and are an award winning surveying consultancy who operate within the civil engineering, transport and infrastructure sectors. With a large order book of work, they are continuing to expand their already well established brand.

About the Role: 
We are seeking a Surveyor to work on rail infrastructure projects, infrastructure works, and housing developments throughout regional NSW. This will suit someone looking for a change and is keen to get experience in state and meaningful projects away from the hustle and bustle of city life.


Duties:
  • Reporting to the Survey manger
  • Planning workloads/days
  • Working autonomously
  • Liaising with clients and contractors
  • Reading plans
  • Conducting daily surveys (engineering/detailed and topographic)
  • Managing survey equipment & software
  • Keeping accurate data records
  • Equipment calibration
  • Upkeep of vehicle 
About the Requirements: 
  • Formal Surveying qualifications
  • Have the desire to work in regional NSW 
  • Infrastructure/construction/housing project experience
  • Proficient with Leica Total Station & GPS & Digital Levels
  • Be competent with setting out duties
  • Have experience in topographical detail surveys
  • Experience of using software such as AutoCad, CivilCad & LisCad
  • Experience with Microsoft Word & Excel
  • Be able to work autonomously
  • Have the ability to work to deadlines
  • Have effective communication skills
  • Drivers licence
