Our Engineering business offers a comprehensive civil engineering capability. We provide services to public and private clients with a focus on Roads, Bridges and Tunnels, Rail and Civil Infrastructure.

The Finance Manager is responsible for establishing, implementing and monitoring effective finance, tax, accounting and payroll to meet management, statutory and compliance requirements. You will provide advice and assistance in the delivery of targeted financial outcomes utilising comprehensive project control procedures, effective cost monitoring and taking action to manage an acceptable level of project risk. You will be expected to perform trend analysis, verify projects forecasts, audit costs incurred, and provide other financial analysis support required by the project.

You will drive engagement and communication with stakeholders as well as managing and implementing robust financial controls. Being passionate about driving improvement across our business, its systems, processes and people is also a key part of this position.

To be successful in this role you will have demonstrated senior finance experience ideally gained working across relevant industry sectors, in large, complex environments. With strong commercial acumen, you will have a results focused approach and the ability to work well under pressure. You will thrive in a team based environment and be comfortable working independently with a high level of initiative. In addition to the above, you will be degree qualified with CA/CPA qualification.

Essential to the role is an excellent ability to partner closely with stakeholders, both internal and external to ensure positive business outcomes. You will be strategically focused, with the ability to anticipate as well as mitigate potential issues. Commercially astute, you will focus on exceeding performance targets for your team, and develop relationships with key stakeholders to influence and drive change.
