Network Events Manager – Sydney Light Rail
With the opening of the new network approaching this is a unique opportunity to influence the way we deliver events on an iconic light rail service for years to come. Reporting to the General Manager Operations and working closely with the Network Manager this role will focus on developing the strategy to plan and manage network events. This will include facilitating workshops with key stakeholders, planning, visualizing and owning all variations to the master timetable and ongoing support to the Operational Control Centre. There will also be an ongoing need for continuous improvement, collaborating with the Network Performance Manager and leading post-delivery ‘lessons learnt’ workshops.
What you bring
The successful candidate will have a proven track record planning and managing large scale events that impact transport, infrastructure or the broader community. Project management and influencing skills will be essential as you drive timelines across a broad range of influential stakeholders. Equally important will be your well-developed communication skills, combined with the ability to engage with all levels within the organization
